Your charitable donation goes towards us finishing much needed property repairs, as well as feeding and caring for our wonderful horses. We pay special attention to our horse’s feed, as they always have some “making up to do” when it comes to proper nutrition. We spend $1,200 every month on hay and over $2,000 on grain, supplements and medications. This is the price of making sure these horses have the best balance of vitamins and minerals, to finish out their lives better than they started. While we adore our little “urban” farm, it is in dire need of some updates. These updates put the horse’s care and management first. New fencing and larger, better crafted stalls keep our horses safe. New, redesigned turnout space makes the best use of our property, allowing the horses to live a more natural lifestyle. Updates to utilities keep the barn running smoothly, even on the hottest and coldest days of the year. This ultimately reduces disruption and stress in our horses. Excited about the mission?
